Financial Planner

Involves working with individuals, families, and organizations to understand their financial situations and formulating a strategy to help them meet their financial objectives.  Financial planners work with clients on an ongoing basis to maintain relationships, monitor their financial plan and when necessary, make recommendations for changes. Financial planners work closely with team members to ensure a seamless client experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients on a systematic basis to review financial plan and investment goals
  • Properly prepare for all appointments and complete follow up tasks
  • Bring in new clients and build a referral base
  • Work closely with team members to deliver a high-level customer experience



  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses ( or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of 66)
  • Bachelor’s degree or better in business or a related field
  • Pursue Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite


  • Certified Financial Planner ™ (CFP®) designation
  • Existing book of business


  • Strong communications and relational skills
  • Ability to stay organized at peak capacity levels
  • High motivation
  • Excellent attentiveness to detail
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt as they change
