Associate Financial Planner

Involves working with individuals, families, and organizations to understand their financial situations and formulating a strategy to help them meet there financial objectives. Financial planners work with clients on an on-going basis to maintain relationships, monitor their financial plan and when necessary, make recommendations for changes. Financial planners work closely with team members to ensure a seamless client experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients on a systematic basis to review financial plan and investment goals
  • Properly prepare for all appointments and complete follow up tasks
  • Bring in new clients and build a referral base
  • Work closely with team members to deliver a high level client experience



  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses ( or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of 66)
  • Bachelor’s degree or better in business or a related field
  • Pursue Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite


  • Certified Financial Planner ™ (CFP®) designation
  • Existing book of business


  • Strong communications and relational skills
  • Ability to stay organized at peak capacity levels
  • High motivation
  • Excellent attentiveness to detail
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt as they change
